webLyzard technology is an Austrian SME that coordinates the GENTIO project. Founded in 2008, webLyzard pursues research and development in Web intelligence and online media monitoring, drawing upon extensive expertise in the fields of Web intelligence and visual analytics, opinion mining, the Geospatial Web, human-computer interaction, and the integration of semantic and geospatial Web technology.

MODUL Technology brings expertise in data and media collection, analysis and annotation, built up in past and current projects managed by its lead researchers: LinkedTV, MediaMixer, InVID, ReTV. Thus its role in EPOCH will be to take responsibility for providing the components for data collection from various sources; applying event detection with temporal annotation to build an Event Knowledge Graph; statistical modelling of correlations between historical data and events to support innovative predictive analytics.

Vienna University of Economics and Business. The Research Institute for Computational Methods (RICM) hosts a high-performance computing infrastructure (Cluster@WU and wu.cloud). It develops advanced computational methods and has a strong track record in decision support, ontologies, query and rules languages, scalable semantic data management, Web services and Linked Open Data.
